We need your support. Give now.     Trouble viewing this email? [View it online.](   [CARE](   Women in Yemen: 3,323 days of sacrifice   Women everywhere: We are strong. We are capable and determined but can’t perform miracles with nothing.   [GIVE NOW](   [Young baby sitting with family](   {NAME}, I am the Area Manager for CARE in Yemen. I am also a mother, and right now, I am doing everything I can to protect my child from the impact of 9 years of war. Even if that means sacrificing how much I eat or sleep. Like other mothers caught in war in countries all over the world, I will suffer more if it means my child might suffer a little less. I am not the only one. No matter the country, women suffer most in times of crisis. And yet, we are strong. We are capable and determined to give our children a future. But we cannot perform miracles with nothing. CARE’s work in Yemen is everything for families like mine. Since 1992, we’ve reached 2.8 million Yemenis with food, water, health, education programs, and livelihood support that has meant my people can have hope for themselves and their children. [Your support makes a difference to us and others around the world.]( means we are not forgotten. It means we can do more than just survive. The cost of war has been high. Two-thirds of our population need lifesaving assistance — that’s 21 million of my neighbors who need help to survive.    Here’s what you need to know about Yemen’s Crisis   • We fear for our children’s lives. At least 2.2 million Yemeni children under five are suffering from acute malnutrition.   • Humanitarian needs in Yemen are only 39% funded. We worry that support will end and we will become a forgotten crisis, like those in Syria, Sudan, and Haiti.   • We are suffering in silence. Women and girls, especially those who are single-handedly taking care of their families, bear the brunt of the impact.   • [Your gift means greater support for women and families in crisis all over the world.]( your support, CARE can provide food and water to keep children nourished, cash assistance to help families purchase the items they need most and support that helps families overcome poverty with access to income opportunities, livelihood assistance, and education.   [GIVE NOW](   Imagine how you might feel knowing your children are hungry, but you have nothing to feed them. Mothers we’ve talked to, like Khadijah, are down to the last resort, nourishing their children with simple bread scraps dipped in tea for breakfast: “We don’t have much access to clean water or healthcare, but now I’m also worried about how little they’re eating.”   Please give today to women and children in Yemen and countries impacted by conflict all around the world.   [GIVE NOW](   We are not just refugees of war. We are parents, children, and grandparents. People who deserve to live in peace and support our own families as best we can. I hope you do not forget us. Please, give now. With hope for every mother and family suffering from war, Bushra Aldukhainah Area Manager and Humanitarian Coordinator, CARE Yemen     WHY CARE?   We are the BEST in the world at what we do.   [More than 90% of our expenses go directly to work that saves and transforms lives.
