This week’s digital download will help you keep track of everything you read this year. January 16, 2022 [View Online]( Good morning! “Read more” is one of the most popular goals that people have set for themselves this year. If that includes you, or if you already read a lot anyway, this week’s digital download will help you keep track of your reading progress. Jillee THIS WEEK’S DIGITAL DOWNLOAD Working On Reading More Books? You’ll Want To Use This [Photos of Jillee writing on her printable reading log.]( Whether you’re a natural bookworm or trying to become one, this printable will come in handy. I like to listen to audiobooks while getting things done around the house, and doing so has enabled me to get through many more books that I would otherwise have time to read. However, at the rate I’ve been going through books, I've found it hard to remember exactly what I've read beyond the 2 or 3 most recent titles. Many readers have the same issue, so for this week’s download, I thought I’d put together something to help. Allow me to introduce you to my “Books I’ve Read in 2022” printable reading log, which includes spaces for book titles, authors, start and finish dates, and a spot to rate each book out of 5 stars. There are 17 rows on the log, but that doesn’t mean you can only read 17 books this year—you can always print out another copy if you need to. In addition to tracking your own reading, here are a few other ways you could use it: • Give One To Young Readers. Print out a copy and give it to your kids or grandkids who love reading—I know I would have loved having an “official” reading list to fill out when I was a kid. • Set A Reading Challenge. If you have kids or grandkids who could use some encouragement when it comes to reading, offer them a reward for reading enough to fill up the entire sheet. • Use It For Your Book Club. Use the reading log to keep track of what your book club reads this year and how the group felt about each book. I'm sure there are more ways you could use this reading log, so be sure to let me know if you use it in a way that wasn't mentioned here. Thanks For Nothing: It’s National Nothing Day, a paradoxical anti-holiday that was invented “to provide Americans with one National day when they can just sit without celebrating, observing or honoring anything.” One could argue that the act of calling it National Nothing Day implies you’re observing or honoring “nothing,” but some cans of worms are best left unopened. What’s Coming Up? In this week's newsletters, you can look forward to learning a simple tip to improve your favorite meatloaf, finding out about the best things I bought on Amazon last year, a fast and easy way to defog your car windows, and learning how to make a single-serving dessert you can whip up anytime. Sunday Sneak Peek: In the next Sunday edition, you’ll find a download that will help you stay on top of some crucial health information. What did you think of today's email?
