[Things To Do](
There’s something great happening in Melbourne every day of the year.
Hi Melbourne,
The NGV’s latest blockbuster exhibition is here. The artist’s work caused literal stampedes in China.
There’s all-you-can-eat fried chicken, a new after-dark street-food market, a exhibition for anyone who’s ever been heartbroken, and cheese- and baklava-making classes.
It’s also National Cheeseburger Day – which means cheap burgs – and we’ve rounded up the best from around the city to celebrate.
See you round town.

[One of the World’s Biggest Pop Artists Arrives at the NGV
KAWS has been an art sensation since the ’90s. The former Disney animator moonlighted as a graffiti artist for years, and his grim pop culture-inspired pieces have drawn crowds in New York, Paris, London, Berlin and Tokyo. His popularity has seen him compared to Andy Warhol and his art – including giant sculptures of his grim Mickey Mouse-inspired character Companion – now carries multimillion-dollar price tags. Now, it’s Melbourne’s turn to see them.](
