Check out our new charity shirts to support the Piston Foundation's work Support Piston Foundation Scholars With New BaT x Piston Foundation Shirts! Hi {NAME}, We are proud supporters of the [Piston Foundation]( here at BaT, and we wholeheartedly believe in their mission to bring young people into the collector car industry by funding skilled trade programs specializing in collector cars. Through our [ongoing partnership]( we have been able to help raise well over $250,000 for the foundation through [charity auctions]( and direct donations. Now, here’s another chance for you, the BaT community, to support the Piston Foundation’s work: we’ll be donating the full proceeds from two new special, limited-run BaT x Piston Foundation T-shirt designs, [now available in the BaT Gear Store](. The proceeds from these T-shirt sales will directly benefit Piston scholars by funding scholarships and apprenticeships. Two designs are available (while supplies last), with each retailing for $30 in the BaT Gear Store. Both the cream and gray versions are made from 100% cotton and available in unisex sizes from Small–3XL. The cream-colored [“Keeping it Running” shirt]( features an Aston Martin DB Mark III Saloon graphic on the front, with its bonnet tipped forward to provide full access to its irreplaceable British componentry. The second design, entitled [“The Sum of Our Parts,”]( features a small co-branded graphic on the front, while the back is adorned with an artfully disassembled Tipo 113 Ferrari flat-12—something only a skilled technician could put back together. We’re inspired by the work that the Piston Foundation is doing, and it’s vitally important to the future of the collector car industry. Since 2021, they’ve been able to provide 53 scholarships to 37 individuals enrolled in programs at McPherson College, WyoTech, and Lanier Technical College, as well as various apprenticeships with well-known specialty shops. This year, applications for Piston Scholarships doubled, which is incredibly encouraging—but makes funding more important than ever. Past recipients of Piston Scholarships are taking roles in establishments across the collector car industry like Patrick Otis Co., Race Kraft & Design, Okoboji Classic Cars, Tony’s Muscle Cars, Paul Russell and Company, and several private collections. The Piston Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. To learn more or donate directly, please visit [pistonfoundation.org](.
