Confidence is one of the most important yet misunderstood traits that all great players have.  It’s the difference between hesitating on an open shot and sinking it with no second thoughts.  But it’s also a trait that can feel intangible and hard to develop.  Where does confidence really come from?  Well, we believe it comes from mastering two key elements:  1 - Competence: The more you develop your skills, the more confident you’ll be. This part is pretty self-explanatory—when you trust your preparation, you’re ready to perform when it counts.  2 - Fear of Failure: This is where many players get stuck. They view mistakes in a negative fashion and want to practice perfectly. When in reality, pushing your limits and making mistakes is how you evolve into the best player possible.   “I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” - Michael Jordan  Additionally, many players aren’t put in environments where they can push their limits and improve. The only time they practice is with their school team or club team when they’re competing for playing time and don’t want to make mistakes.   Well, here’s how you can make that change…  [Our Fall Camps]( are specifically designed to help all players develop more actual confidence this upcoming season.  Of course, skill development is crucial to what we do, and you’ll dive deep into all aspects of your game –including shooting, ball handling, defense, and conditioning.  We’ll do this through a variety of drills that start with 1v0 practice and progress to live game situations.  But beyond that, when it comes to confidence, one of the biggest benefits of our Fall Camps is that you’ll be working with high-level coaches who aren’t your usual ones!  Without the history, expectations, or pressure from your regular coach, you’re free to take more risks on the court—and that’s exactly what our camps encourage.  Our coaches are trained to help you overcome the fear of failure.  In a positive, encouraging environment, you’ll be pushed to step outside your comfort zone and take chances you wouldn’t normally take.  You’ll discover that failing and making mistakes isn’t something to avoid—it’s a key stepping stone to success.  So by attending one of our [54 Fall Camps and training academies]( you’ll not only sharpen your skills but also learn how to take risks, overcome setbacks, and play with a fearless mindset.  Want to unlock the most confident version of yourself as a basketball player?  [View the schedule for our 54 Fall Camps and Training Academies](  All the best,  Joe Haefner Breakthrough Basketball Â
