This is not about "locking the classroom doors." This is not about arming teachers. Content Warning: This email discusses the recent shooting in Nashville and the physical impact of an AR-15 rifle which may be difficult for some. If you would like to skip this email but would still like to support Brady PAC's work to elect gun safety champions, you can make a donation [here.]( Like many of you, we woke up heartbroken once again after yesterday's mass shooting that took the lives of three children and three educators at an elementary school. Let us make this abundantly clear: This is not about locking classroom doors. This is not about arming teachers. It's about the f***ing guns. The Nashville shooter was armed with two AR-15 assault rifles, a gun that was designed as a weapon of war with bullets so fast that they literally rip a child's body apart on impact. Any politician who does nothing after another elementary school mass shooting does not give a damn about the safety of our children or our communities. The NRA hacks in Congress have proven mass shooting after mass shooting that the ONLY thing they care about is lining their pockets with money from the gun lobby. We need immediate action to protect our communities, but we also need to plan for long-term victories that will end this carnage for good in our lifetime. Brady PAC endorses and supports candidates who advocate for gun safety priorities, including an assault weapons ban. [{NAME}, if you're with us, chip in any amount today to support our work to elect leaders who will STOP gun violence. Enough is enough >>]( [DONATE]( Thank you for taking action.
