We need the opinion of our strongest supporters [CNN logo]( "Floridaâs post-Parkland law raising minimum age to purchase a gun to 21 is upheld" We have good news and bad news, {NAME}: The good news: A federal appeals court upheld the Florida law that raised the minimum age to purchase a firearm from 18 to 21. Passed in the wake of the devastating shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school, this piece of legislation is critical to keeping guns from falling into the wrong hands. The bad news: Extremist Florida lawmakers are already scheming to undermine this ruling. Just last week, they introduced a bill to lower the age back to 18. Now we need to know where our team stands.
