How to Find High Traffic And Money Making Keywords Welcome to the first lesson on keyword research.

How to Find High Traffic And Money Making Keywords Welcome to the first lesson on keyword research.  What is keyword research? Keyword research is the process of finding phrases or words that people use in search engines like Google (to find something online). Keyword research helps you with finding “better keywords” that you can use within your content to drive more visitors and sales to your websites from search engines like Google.  Keyword research benefits: If you’re wondering about the importance of doing keyword research, here are some of the ultimate benefits. - Your every single blog post will get targeted traffic from the search engines if you do keyword research first - Proper keyword research will help you come up with a lot of ideas to select and target an area around which you can create your content (and to build a money-making blog) - Keyword research helps you with generating more sales and revenue to your website - If you find and use the right keywords, they will also attract quality links That being said, if you’re struggling to get more traffic from search engines, it’s mostly because of “lack of keyword research”. Important: We’ve written a DETAILED guide on [how to do keyword research like a pro](. Make sure to check it out if you want an in-depth tutorial on keyword research. Here are the two BIGGEST mistakes most people make with keyword research.  - Not finding any keywords at all - Finding HIGHLY competitive keywords You see, if you make any of the above two mistakes, you simply won’t get any search traffic. So let’s talk about how you can brainstorm keywords so you can get targeted traffic to your sites from search engines in 2021 and beyond.  Keyword research tools You need to get access to the right tools if you want to master keyword research. Here are a few keyword research tools I highly recommend.  - Semrush (this is a premium SEO tool that we’ve been using for a long time) - Ubersuggest (free keyword research tool) - KeywordTool.io (free with limited features) - KWFinder (free with limits) So in this email, let’s cover two tools (one is Semrush and the other is a free tool i.e Ubersuggest) for keyword research.  How to use Ubersuggest for keyword research for FREE? Here’s a step by step tutorial to use Ubersuggest for free to perform keyword research. Step 1: Visit [Ubersuggest]( and enter a keyword of your choice. Make sure to pick the appropriate database where your target audiences are.  As you can see above, we are taking an example keyword “SEO training” for keyword research using Ubersuggest. Quick tip: Sign in with Google to get more features from Ubersuggest at free of cost. Step 2: Just click on the keyword ideas tab and Ubersuggest will show you a list of all the keyword ideas that you can use to get higher rankings. Here’s how it looks like:  As you can see above, you’ll find  - Keyword suggestions for your target keyword term - Monthly volume - CPC and other keyword metrics You can also click on the Related tab to find all the related keyword ideas. Here’s how it looks like;  So there you go. That’s how you can use Ubersuggest for free to find related keywords in your niche.  How to brainstorm keyword ideas with Semrush? Here’s a simple step by step tutorial on how to find ultimate keywords to increase traffic and sales. Step 1: Brainstorm at least 10 to 20 topic ideas. For example, if you’re in the fitness industry, you can come up with topic ideas like “fitness tips”, “fitness apps”, “fitness courses”, “fitness books” and the list goes on. The key here is to focus only on coming up with new topic ideas. You can also sneak into your competitor sites to gather a few topic ideas to blog. Step 2: Start using Semrush (it’s the one tool I’ve been using to double my search traffic and sales). Here’s a [30 day free trial of S]([emrush](. Once you’re on Semrush, go to Semrush keyword magic tool and enter your topic ideas one by one (which you did in the above step). Here’s how it looks like;  As you can see above, I entered “SEO tools” as an example and the keyword magic tool is doing the magic and showing up all relevant keywords along with monthly search volume, trend, keyword difficulty. As you notice, I also highlighted two keywords in the above screenshot which you can consider as your primary keywords to rank for. Step 3: Filtering out the best keywords Spend quality time in step 2 to come up with a ton of “primary keywords” for your topics (which you’ve brainstormed in step 1). In the 3rd step, we’ll be filtering out the best keywords so you can easily get higher rankings in search. When you click on one of the keyword suggestions from Semrush (which is “best SEO tools”), Semrush gives you in-depth data which looks like this;  As you can see above, Semrush keyword tool is showing all the phrase match keywords related to our example keyword which is “SEO tools”. You can also click on other tabs such as Exact Match or Questions tab to find a list of all the exact match keywords and Questions based keywords along with their monthly search volume, search trend, keyword difficulty, CPC value etc. A quick tip: The key here is to choose “low competitive keywords”. As a rule of thumb, if you want to get faster search rankings with minimal efforts, go for keywords with the search volume below 1000 (even 500 searches or less). Step 4: Finding “money making keywords” This is the last step, where you will talk about how you can find money-making keywords using the Semrush keyword tool. As we already discussed Semrush shows a lot of keyword data which also includes CPC (cost per click) data. Have a look;  As you can see above, Semrush shows us a column with “CPC”. The key here is to choose “high CPC value” yet “low search volume” keywords. So it becomes so much easier for you to rank for your keywords and also generate more CPC with your targeted keywords. So there you go. That’s how you can find highly profitable and money-making keywords that drive sales and traffic to your sites. Make sure to give a try to Semrush ([grab 30 days free trial]() and start taking more advantage of it. If you find Semrush a bit expensive, you may want to give a try to a few other free tools like [Ubersuggest](, [KWFinder]( (5 keyword searches a day), [Keywordtool.io](. But if you can invest some money, Semrush is worth paying every single penny. Tomorrow, you’ll be getting the 2nd lesson on competitor research to succeed in blogging. So get ready for it. If you’ve any questions, do let me know by replying to the email.
