Have you ever been afraid to slow down in your business? But you also know that you can’t keep

Have you ever been afraid to slow down in your business? But you also know that you can’t keep up the pace? This is a common theme with the business owners I’ve talked to and worked with over the past year. They are running hard, trying to get growth. And are afraid that if they slow down, it will all go away. But they can’t keep going like this. They’re exhausted and stuck at the same time. * * * My “secret” to being a part-time CEO? I’ve chosen to be. Our businesses function as a result of the choices we’ve made (and continue to make). Years ago I decided to prioritize a 30-hour work week and lots of vacation time per year. THE PROBLEM: 1. Everything in your business wants to keep you in a constant state of urgency and reaction. 2. There is always another email to read, another idea to work on, another thing to check, another project to wrap up, another meeting to go to… 3. Your business will expand to take up all the time you give it. THE SOLUTION: I choose to keep my work within the boundaries I’ve set for it. I’ve chosen a sabbatical schedule that gives me 8 weeks of vacation per year. And I keep that time off even when it feels inconvenient. I don’t let work fill up all my time. My team and I have clear goals, and we focus on only the most important work each day. * * * By prioritizing calm and margin, it forces my team and I to build systems and assets that can scalable and that require less time and manpower to maintain. Put another way... My “secret” to being a part-time CEO is that I choose to run my business — I don’t allow it to run me. * * * If you want to re-structure YOUR business to prioritize margin, calm, and focus then I hope you’ll join me for the [Founder’s Refresh]( that I’m hosting. This is a 2-day virtual retreat. ([Full details here.]() And the systems and structure you'll get are the same ones I have developed to run my own business on a part time schedule. I’ll show you how to: - Eliminate nearly all busywork, urgency, and procrastination from your week and my business. - Get more breathing room in your schedule (even when it felt impossible to them). - Consistently plan out your year, your month, your week, and your day to do the things that you want to do. - Delegate to your team and keep projects moving forward. Because of this system, I consistently work just 30-35 hours a week, and I take 9 weeks of vacation every year. I would love to help you get your time and focus back so you can grow your business and do more of the things that matter. Save your spot here: 👉 focuslikeaboss.com/refresh — Shawn P.S.
