Yesterday, I announced our first ever [Build Your Dream Week Summit]( — the upcoming online workshop where I’ll personally help you create your ideal weekly schedule (and actually stick to it). For many, it brought to mind a fun question: “What would my dream week actually look like?” Let’s rule a couple things out to get started: - You can’t just say “be on vacation.” 😄 - You can’t do everything you want to do — that’s just another recipe for burnout. At a high level, my dream week needs three ingredients: - Clarity on my most important tasks for the week. - Time set aside to focus on those most important things. - Breathing room built into my calendar for family and personal time. Do important work. Spend time with important people. Give myself space to breathe. If I can check those three boxes, it’s almost impossible for me to feel overwhelmed or disappointed in my output at the end of the week. It sounds so simple, right? But it’s difficult to do it with any consistency if you don’t have the right plan. That’s why we’re taking a different approach with the [Build Your Dream Week Summit](. During our short time together, you’ll remake your schedule to fit the things you value in life the most right now. Not by copying someone else’s morning routine or downloading a shiny new productivity app, but by getting crystal clear on your vision for your life and creating a simple system that keeps you focused on it. We’ll meet for an hour per day June 11 – 14 (or you can watch the recording later if you can’t make it live). Here is the agenda: - June 11 & 12: Get Clear — During the first two sessions, you’ll gain clarity on what’s truly important in your life right now. By the end, you’ll know exactly what to prioritize (and, just as importantly, what to say “no” to) so you can ensure your actions are aligned with your short- and long-term goals. - June 13: Design Your Dream Week — Now that you’re clear on the things that matter, you can build a schedule that allows you to focus on them consistently. Deep work time in the morning? No meetings on Mondays? Family time every night after 6pm? This will be unique to the nuances of your life so you can set yourself up for success. - June 14: Implement Your Dream Week — This is when we’ll get tactical. You’ll learn how to actually plan and consistently live out your Dream Week. Which pieces can you implement immediately? Which ones can you work toward implementing in the future? I’ll walk you through the tools and workflows I use so you can adapt them to fit your life. You also have the option to add in a special afternoon Q&A session when you enroll here so you can get personalized feedback throughout the process. By the end, you’ll have a straightforward weekly routine that allows you to reserve more time for the things that matter. It’s going to be exactly what you need to stay focused on what counts throughout the summer and going forward in 2024 (and beyond). This is a habit that can serve you for the rest of your life if you’re willing to make a small investment in it now. I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
