Hello! Shawn here. And welcome to this week’s edition of the 2x2 Newsletter. Your premier Friday email for business owners and creative professionals like you, doing the important work that matters while creating and protecting your free time to enjoy life. As always, I’m so glad you’re here. Check this out 1: [How to Walk and Talk (Everything Kevin Kelly and Craig Mod know)]( A complete overview and rundown of how (and why) to host (or participate in) a walk-and-talk trip. Sounds amazing. I’ve done several friend and business retreats, but they’re always held in just a singular spot. Love this idea of getting out and about and adventuring. 2: [The Ideal Email Folder Structure](Keep it Simple, Silly. Something to think about 1: Experiment with new extremes for a short amount of timeNot everything needs to be a long-term commitment. From time to time it can be empowering to try something new for a short amount of time. Try something without feeling like it has to be the new normal forever. Rather, let it be a short-term action which will bring about an agent of change into your life and give you fresh perspective and clarity. 2: Repetition matters more than any one specific experience For routines, habits, and lifestyle practices — there will always be the next time. This is liberating because it allows you to focus on repetition rather than perfection. You no longer need to go on the “perfect date” or have the “perfect family dinner” or do the “best possible workout” … you simply need to get in consistent repetitions of those things. Perfectionism is based on scarcity and repetition is based on abundance. * * * — Shawn P.S.
