They discovered that this was provoked due to a misconfiguration of the Bitnami HTTPS Configuration Tool (bncert tool). The Bitnami by VMware team, along with the Let’s Encrypt and Lego Teams, worked on a new version of the bncert tool that helps our users restore normal behavior and prevent the creation of undesired certificates on Let’s Encrypt servers.
