Social media people LOVE this couple, but it's the title for me. I had to clean my eyes to be sure I was reading well. Where did you find them? The story is long o. I’m part of a literary circle because of my publishing background, so I meet up with fellow creative writers and book lovers from time to time for book parties and stuff like that. I met these guys sometime in 2018, and we became “literary friends?”. If you know literary people, you’d know they’re very vocal, irreverent and eccentric. These guys would bring up how sex means nothing to them and they hardly have it. I’ve always been intrigued about that. They used to talk about it? Yes. But it was in those book-club-conversation-circle things where people just sit and talk about ideas and concepts over a glass of wine. I attend a lot of those, where people can just talk about anything. It’s not just sex, though. Discussions range from unserious stuff to serious ones like feminism, misogyny, and even religion. So what was it like talking to them for this #LoveLife? Did you learn anything new about them? I didn’t know they were “celibate celibate”. I also didn’t know their kids were adopted. But I totally agree with that decision. I want to do the same. This might be difficult, but what’s your favourite thing about this story? I love that they think the only thing missing is a big dog.
