Don't worry, it's totally understandable to forget — but also incredibly important to take care

Don't worry, it's totally understandable to forget — but also incredibly important to take care of! {NAME}, The other day, something odd happened in the Layke household. See, my wife Kendhal came into the kitchen and started mixing olive oil, sea salt, and lemon juice into a bowl... Nothing too out of the ordinary, right? But once she finished mixing her concoction, she didn't make lunch — she headed to the bathroom instead! So I headed her way, and found her pouring what I thought was salad dressing… All over her SCALP! Turns out, she was doing a detoxifying scalp scrub… And of course, that’s when her recipe made perfect sense. See, your scalp tends to be one of those “out of sight, out of mind” parts of your skin — and it’s easy to think shampoo and conditioner are all it needs to stay healthy. But the reality is, dead skin cells, pollution, and buildup can “clog up” your scalp just like the skin on your face… Leaving you with congested hair follicles and poor oil production — a recipe for hair that’s dry, brittle, and prone to falling out. That’s why a simple scalp scrub like this one can be so effective at promoting healthy hair growth… Because it’s incredible at loosening buildup, purifying the skin, and restoring moisture all at the same time. Well, after seeing just how voluminous and lustrous Kendhal’s hair looked when she was finished… I immediately asked if I could share her personal recipe with you. So after getting the “green light” (and trying it on myself of course!)... Here’s how to make your very own scalp scrub: [Note: Because lemon juice can be irritating to some skin types, be sure to do a patch test on the inside of your arm before applying this to your scalp.]  Weekly Detoxifying Scalp Scrub Ingredients: - 2 Tbsp olive oil: Rich in vitamin A & E, olive oil is fantastic at gently dissolving away scalp buildup while infusing essential moisture from root to tip. - 2 Tbsp lemon juice: Acidity acts as a gentle exfoliator to help hair follicles “breathe” (critical for healthy hair growth). - 2 Tbsp sea salt: In addition to sloughing away any dead skin cells, sea salt also helps promote healthy circulation to keep roots strong. Instructions: - Mix your olive oil, lemon juice, and sea salt together in a bowl until it’s fully blended. - Wet your hair, and use your fingertips to gently work the mixture into your scalp using circular motions. (Trust me — this part feels amazing.) - Massage the scrub into your scalp for 1-2 minutes, rinse the mixture out, and follow up with a moisturizing conditioner. {NAME}, it’s incredible how a healthy scalp can almost immediately improve the look and feel of your hair. I think you’ll be astonished by how much fuller, shinier, and lighter your hair feels even after just one use… So be sure to give this DIY scalp scrub a go this week. And as always, keep me posted on what you think. :) Your Beverly Hills MD, Dr. John Layke P.S. Just FYI… This scalp scrub feels so good, you might be tempted to do it a few times a week. But keep in mind, you want to treat your scalp just as gently as your skin… So I recommend only doing this scrub once a week maximum. (Otherwise, you might over-exfoliate your scalp and leave it drier over time!)      This email was sent to {EMAIL} by jlayke@beverlyhills-md.com Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group 436 N.
