Which of these foods can give you a winter glow all season long? A: Apples 🍏 B: Corn 🌽 C: Dates 🤎 D: Rice 🍚 If you guessed C: Dates, you’re spot on! You’ve probably heard dates described as “nature’s candy” before… But dates are ALSO nature’s “cheat code” for keeping your skin looking healthy, supple, and smooth. This tiny dried fruit really packs a punch… Because in every piece you’ll find: 👉 Vitamins C & D for collagen and elasticity support. 👉 Antioxidants to protect your skin against free radicals. 👉 A healthy dose of fiber, which helps your skin stay supple and hydrated. Not only are dates downright delicious — they’re also extremely versatile. You can stick them in salads, smoothies, baked goods, savory stews — the list is truly endless. So in the spirit of this festive season, I’m sharing my all-time favorite recipe for radiant skin this winter: Date Nut Bars! I make these year-round whenever I’m craving something sweet… And they’re super easy to make! So feel free to recruit a friend or family member to help, and let’s get started. :) 🤎 Date Nut Bars for Winter Glow 🤎 Here’s what you’ll need to make 22 bars: - 1 cup toasted walnuts and almonds - 1 cup soft pitted dates - 1 tbsp. vanilla extract - ¼ tsp. cinnamon And once you gather those... Step 1 ~ Grind the roasted nuts in a food processor until they form a flour-like consistency. Transfer the nut flour to a mixing bowl. Step 2 ~ Blend the dates and vanilla extract in a food processor until they turn into a smooth paste. Step 3 ~ Add the date paste to the bowl with the nut flour. Sprinkle in the cinnamon. Using clean hands, mix the ingredients until they form a sticky, cohesive mass. Step 4 ~ Spread the mixture evenly over a baking sheet, then cut into bars. Refrigerate for 1 hour, then serve and enjoy! These bars are a HUGE hit in the Layke house… (The kids are convinced they're candy bars!) They’re the perfect mix of sweet and nutty — a true godsend for cravings. Loaded with “skin food” to support a healthy winter glow… You can feel great reaching for these bars over other festive treats full of skin-wrecking processed sugar. And because these bars are easy to keep around, they’re sure to make your life easier — and your skin so much brighter! I hope you’ll give this easy recipe a try — because you deserve flawless radiant skin all year long. :) Your Beverly Hills MD, Dr. John Layke     This email was sent to {EMAIL} by jlayke@beverlyhills-md.com [Edit Profile]( | [Manage Subscriptions]( | [VIP Discounts]( | [Join Text Club]( | [Subscribe](  8391 Beverly Blvd., #471, Los Angeles, CA 90048   [Report Spam](  These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
