Hi {NAME}, I could not be more excited for Thanksgiving! The food, the aromas, the family, the fun… The only problem? The stress! You see, in addition to the usual holiday stresses we all encounter — the planning, the shopping, the travel — Kendhal and I have a little one on the way to boot... But Kendhal is so dedicated to making her famous pies for all of our family and friends, she’s finding herself extra exhausted. Now, she loves making those pies. It’s a passion of hers — and she’s amazing at it. But the prep is not for the faint of heart. The shopping, rolling, perfecting, and freezing of the crusts has to be done ahead of time... and this takes hours with her secret recipe… Seriously, I’ve done surgeries less complicated! So I knew I had to hop in and take some of the pressure off… but helping in the kitchen was not an option. (She’s got a very precise system… I would’ve just been in the way!) Luckily, I know a simple trick that never fails to help Kendhal unwind… and I’m going to share it with YOU today too… Because it’s actually a great skincare DIY for fall — and it’s as easy as can be. Not to mention, everything I needed was a Thanksgiving staple I could pick up easily at the grocery store (and you likely already have at your house for holiday prep). - First, I spooned a couple of spoonfuls of cranberry sauce into a small bowl. (Fresh-made is best, but canned works fine too.)  - Then, I added a tiny bit of rosemary, and a couple drops of lemon juice, and mixed it all together. Finally, I draped a comfy chair in towels (this is KEY, you’ll see why in a second)... And asked her to come into the living room for an emergency. (She never would’ve budged if I didn’t fib!) I dimmed the lights… lit some candles… and told her to have a seat. Then, I presented her with the bowl — I told her to pull her hair back, apply the mask to her skin, sit back for 20 minutes… And enjoy her Glowing Skin Cranberry Facial. After all — she deserved it! Once she was done, she rinsed the mask off with cool water, and felt ultra-relaxed… But most of all, she was stunned by the renewed, refreshed glow her skin had. See, here’s the trick with this mask — it doesn’t just feel (and smell) great. It’s actually really potent as an instant radiance-booster! Cranberries are an EXCELLENT source of antioxidants,  Vitamin B3, and Vitamin B5. All of these help energize skin cells and give you a fresh glow. But what's REALLY unique about cranberries is that they're high in natural salicylic acid — An amazing exfoliant that’s great for revealing fresh, healthy skin and boosting radiance. Meanwhile, the Vitamin C in lemon juice helps brighten skin... And rosemary is a potent source of camphor — a soothing agent that helps make this mask ultra-relaxing. So whether you’re prepping Thanksgiving this year, and need a quick-and-easy way to relax and unwind… Or you just want an excellent DIY that can help you look radiant for the holiday… Give this mask a try and let me know what you think! Your Beverly Hills MD, Dr. John Layke P.S. If you have sensitive skin, it's best to do a patch test on the inside of your elbow the day before you try any new DIY… especially when you’re using higher-acidity ingredients like cranberry and lemon. Remember, even when you’re using natural ingredients, it's ALWAYS better to be on the safe side! P.P.S. By the way, I almost forgot... a few people have written in asking how we dressed Smith and Jamison for Halloween. I know it's a little late know, but here's the whole Layke bunch... including one little scuba diver who's INSIDE Mama Shark's belly!
