Email Players subscriber Brandon Cai spanks trolls for fun & profit: === Thank you for your trolling strategy and tactics And I say it with sincerity. Because the most important lesson in dealing with trolls through your daily emails is... 1. Never give an audience to them 2. Never reply to them. Treat them as transparent. 3. They live with unforgiveness in their hearts. Let them have this exclusive experience and membership. I have no wish to live like them. And I haven't even read Copy Troll. :P But I learnt so much from you. It was never about being a copywriting nerd. It was about dealing with people, especially those out to make your lives filled with hatred like them. Man, they can't be even compared to dogs. Even dogs have empathy. Thank you for your trolling strategies and tactics again. I use them to deal with trolls without emotion, without drama and most importantly, starve them of the attention they are seeking for. === I hear ya Brandon. Hereâs how I put it in the March Email Players issue: === Knowing what goads the troll, what torments the troll, and what makes the troll âtickâ is really the only way to squeeze the maximum money from them. If it sounds like I have zero sympathy for trolls, thatâs because I donât have any sympathy for them. And neither should you, in my opinion. Of course, they think theyâre the good guys. Some even posture as if they are âsuper heroesâ for some cause. Still others will play the roll of the victim, which you should just ignore. But I think we can all agree: Emotionally Healthy People Donât Troll. That trolling is part and parcel of some kind of trauma they are dealing with and are taking out on you. In most cases they are harmless and not even worth trying to monetize. Basically the equivalent of a dog yapping at you but too small to do you any damage if they bite. In many cases they are just jealous of you and/or are trying to use you to increase their own online clout with social media likes and high fives from their echo chambers. Those are the ones I will primarily be talking about here. And still in other cases they really do want you to suffer, be canceled, and, in some extreme cases die. You can believe that or not. But Iâve met and/or been trolled by each of these types. And I treat them all (big or small, toothless or fanged) the way Bears coach Mike Ditka treated the sports media (his trolls) once he figured out the game: Like Dirt. === Yes, they are dirt. And, also yes, they are lower than dogs. Thatâs why I both never take anything they say personally (I mean, really, who cares what these wretches think?). It is also why I get excited when the really creepy ones unload their nonsense on me thinking they are scoring some kind of point⦠when in reality they are merely potentially putting money in my bank account. Thus the March Email Players issue: I plunge my hands into the filth and despair of the average online trollâs mind. Or, as I call it: âTroll Pathologyâ Because after over 22 years of dealing with various trolls, hearing from various trolls, being attacked, slandered by, lied about by, and haunted by various trolls of all shapes and sizes, and in multiple niches, I can tell you without any hesitation, pause, or exaggeration they really do have their own unique pathology and thought patterns. All of which you can monetize if you but recognize them. This issue is short on âhow toâ tactics. And it is long on psychology. But, I still show ways I have used to monetize trolls as well as drop a brilliant way FDR used to use the pathology of his critics, trolls, and enemies to win landslide elections while making them look like idiots. And I say this as someone who canât stand FDR or his idiotic socialist policies. You donât have to âagreeâ with someone to learn from them. Something, ironically, trolls are incapable or understanding. Oftentimes they troll & make personal attacks precisely because of a disagreement. (something you teach, believe, say, etc) Very creepy people these trolls are. But what is not creepy is monetizing them. Something you can learn about inside the March Email Players issue.
