The review of my "Supervillains of Persuasion" book below proves - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that dames shouldn't be reading it: === The author does a great job of getting to the meat and potatoes without too much fluff. I enjoy the idea behind his books! Bought all 3 in this series and have devoured the content. What I didn't enjoy may seem trivial to you, but it's peppered so much throughout his "Villain" series of books that I just have to mention it. It's so distracting from the content!! He uses the word "dames" in place of "women," 🤣 which was funny the first time, and grew increasingly more annoying and weird with each time he repeats it... Which is literally every time he talks about women. As a woman (hetero) myself, it was ridiculous to hear. I know the books are geared towards men, but their premise is good for anyone. That said, I do not know of one single man (save the author) who uses the word "dame" and furthermore, who would think it's cool. It sounds cheap, old, and silly. 😏 Such a bummer when the author clearly has talent and good points to share. Took off one star for it, which I'm loathe to do with a good book BUT, like I said, it's distracting and annoying enough to mention. === Magnificent. Irony like this simply doesn’t grow on Christmas trees: 1. Enjoyed the premise & found it a quick/easy read 2. Bought all 3 books in the series 3. Devoured the content 4. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars 5. Spends 168 out of the 203 word review complaining about it… This goes with what I’ve always said: A dame’s place is not in my Villains books. They were, after all, written “to” men and “for” men, totally exclusive and not-at-all inclusive. That does not mean many women have not benefited from the books for business/marketing purposes. Many have, and many do. But, as one astute member of the female species once admitted to me: It does NOT help a woman’s romantic/love/dating life. Just the opposite. What can I say? I didn’t invent biomechanics, I simply exploit it… All right enough of this. If you want to check the books out on Amazon go to: [https∶//www.EmailPlayers.com/villains]( Ben Settle P.S. That is Amazon US link. If you live in a different country, and if you want the books bad enough, you’ll have to search for them by name if the link does not work for you.
