Let me tell you a story. A couple months ago my favorite news source ZeroHedge tweeted about how Elon Musk internally discussed blocking Twitter access in the EU. And I then quote tweeted it, talking about how I have, several times over the years, toyed with banning all EU countries from my shopping cart. To which I was asked why I would do that by one of my loyal EU customers. My answer: Because almost all the problems with delivery… flakey “digital nomads” not keeping me up-to-date on their addresses as they flit from place to place… snobby entitlement attitudes… outright crooked customs agents… crazy invoicing demands (instead of just creating a template and pasting their receipt info in they want me to custom craft a unique invoice just for lil’ ol’ them each month — no…)… etc are primarily from my EU customers. France and Spain are probably the worst culprits. But it ain’t just them — I’ve noticed it amongst several of them. It’s a pattern that repeats itself every single month. So yes, I have considered just banning all of the EU whole cloth. But I have not been able to do so. And the reason why I have not been able to do so is because unlike Abraham who couldn’t find even one righteous person to justify to God why He shouldn’t smite Sodom & Gomorrah… I have way too many great customers in the EU who are not problem customers (just the opposite — total “salt of the earth” customers) and am not going to smite them for the sins of a few low class jackass bums who I simply find easier to eject and ban as they rear their fugly heads. This won’t matter to any non-EU boys & ghouls reading this. But, what might matter to them is this: My attitude above is in strict accordance with the success & peace-of-mind approach I take not just to matters of customers curation, but to how I write my ads and emails, to how I sell my content and offers, to how I “filter” potential business partners & JVs, to even how I run my operation here at home with Stefania and Willis, and anyone I have to deal with in business or in life for maximum compliance, peace, and success. I have a name for this I talk about in the December Email Players issue. And it runs through the entire issue start to finish. Few things have made my business and, in some cases, the businesses of those I partner with and do business with and even sell to (this “trickles” down to some of my customers and even free daily email readers who’ve benefited from it, I have noticed). The irony: People pleasers can benefit the most from it. But, they are the least likely to be able to do what I suggest. Almost like a Faustian deal… Whatever the case, the deadline to subscribe is in 2 short days. Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
