Email Players subscriber Katharina Tinkl reports on my stalking her: === Hey Ben, I’ve been meaning to message you for a while to tell you how grateful I am for everything I’ve been learning from you. In some ways, I’m probably not even one of your ideal customers, yet I keep buying your products whenever I can and telling everyone who wants (or doesn’t want) to hear about it how much respect I have for you and your work. Anyway. A while ago, you somewhere said something about “taking up physical space” in people’s homes and how that can contribute to people valuing your products more (you said it more eloquently, but something along those lines). So I just wanted to let you know: In a few weeks, I’ll be moving countries, and I’ll only be able to bring my most valued possessions with me on the flight (everything else will be delivered weeks later). And my products from you will be among those valuable items. So I might not have any furniture to sit on or stuff to cook with for a while, but I’ll have your books and newsletters with me, if that tells you something! So thanks for all the valuable content you keep creating. Best wishes, Katharina PS: Feel free to use this email if you like. === You know, “value” is always in the eye of the beholder. And if I had to guess why Katharina enjoys my content, especially considering by her own admission she’s not my ideal customer… I’d guess the reason is the infotainment factor. It’s something that probably exists in every strand of “DNA” throughout all my content big or small. And while that was done very consciously (the conscious competence stage of learning) many years ago, nowadays it’s all but in the unconscious competence stage: It just happens without thinking about it. It’s a good goal to get to if you are in business. Infotainment is, in my opinion, the true King of Selling online. And the July Email Players issue is all about what I believe is a unique “spin” on it I have been doing for a long time, and that many brilliant Method actors have been doing in their craft for a whole lot longer, that can be applied to emails, sales copy, and probably most any other kind of content (spoken, written, recorded, doesn’t matter). Tonight’s the deadline to subscribe in time. If you want in then go ahead and give that link below what for: []( Ben Settle This email was sent by Ben Settle as owner of Settle, LLC. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
