Seeing you stand with me through the difficult moments makes all of my work worthwhile. {NAME}, It weighs on you. Going toe-to-toe with Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Oversight Committee. Fielding hateful calls and comments directed at me and my staff. Watching anti-LGBTQ+ bills pass through the halls of Congress. I’ve always said that being a middle school teacher was some of the best prep work I could have done before choosing to run for Congress, and I still stand by it.
