We are on our way to turn Texas blue Friends, You’d never know it from the way that Republicans in Austin act, but we are closer to turning Texas blue than we’ve ever been. Last year, Texas had its closest governor’s race in a generation. We elected a whole new wave of smart, diverse, young candidates in down-ballot races. And next year, we have a chance to replace one of the most dangerous, unlikable politicians in America - Ted Cruz. The only thing that determines what comes next is how we respond. Boot Texas Republicans is re-launching this spring to focus exclusively on a new strategy to elect Democrats statewide in Texas, because we believe it’s possible to make history - with your help. [We need to hear from you about whether you’re still in this fight. If you believe that Texas needs new statewide leadership, can you chip in $3/HPC to support our new strategy to win in 2024?]( We’ve built a powerful network that helped make the closest statewide elections in years. We raised a total of $370,625, and deployed those funds to support key candidates and causes across the state of Texas. That included supporting the re-elected Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, who won a narrow race against a wealthy, well-connected Republican who massively outspent her. We also invested in organizations that are building the foundation of a new way of doing politics in Texas. And online we reached millions of people via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook - shaping the story of this election and how we can make Texas a better place for all of us. Losing hard-fought races to the Republicans who want to take our rights and wreck our state hurts. We won’t shy away from that. But this isn’t over. [We’re closer than ever. We need to keep going. Show you’re still in this with us by chipping in here, and we’ll keep you looped in to our plan to win statewide in Texas.]( Thank you. Let’s keep fighting together. That’s the only way we can win. Boot Texas Republicans We're a home-grown movement to give Texas Republicans the boot. Chip in now so we can organize year-round to mobilize voters and turn Texas blue.
