Hey y'all, With 5 days to go, here is what everyone needs to understand the race for Harris County judge: It's the most important local race in Texas. It's a clear-cut choice between a principled progressive, and a shameless sellout to corporate interests. It’s coming down to the wire. Harris County is the biggest county in Texas. Its Judge, Lina Hidalgo, has been leading with progressive solutions to criminal justice, flooding, and voting rights. Her opponent, Republican Alex Mealer, has sold out to corporate interests that have given her millions of dollars, and pals around with extremists that want to ban abortion, and corrupt our elections. On top of that, Mealer has taken a shocking amount of money from companies bidding on contracts that she wants to award - over $329,000. That crosses the line from a conflict of interest, to potential corruption. We have just 5 days to help Lina win, and keep Harris County blue. She needs every dollar she can get to beat back the flood of corporate money behind her opponent. [This is the most important local race in Texas, by far. Can you chip in $20 before the end of today so that Lina can get out the vote in Texas' biggest blue county and win this race?]( [SUPPORT LINA »]( Let's go win, Boot Texas Republicans P.S. Donations from folks just like you power our efforts — they allow us to make critical voter outreach and advertising efforts to flip Texas BLUE.
