How has Greg Abbott failed Texas? Let us count the ways. Earlier this summer, Texas’s extreme total abortion ban went into effect. It has no exceptions for rape or incest, and it’s the most extreme abortion ban in the country. Greg Abbott fully supports the ban. Earlier this winter, 19 children and 2 teachers were killed in a horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Greg Abbott hasn’t done anything to address gun violence. Last winter, hundreds of Texans froze to death when Greg Abbott couldn’t keep the power on during a major cold snap.
