Republicans are becoming increasingly more brazen with their attacks on our fundamental rights. Voting rights and abortion rights are already on the chopping block in several states. Conversative leaders â like Governor Ron DeSantis in Florida, Governor Greg Abbott in Texas, and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas â are already moving towards assaults on LGBTQ+ equality, and contraception could even be next. While the GOP is aggressively waging war on low-income and middle-class Americans, we canât just sit on the sidelines. We canât afford to elect the same ineffective out-of-touch leaders and hope for the best⦠because letâs be honest â the status quo isnât cutting it for most of us and those who arenât part of the upper elite. Thatâs why Barrier to Entry is focused on lifting up working-class progressives â those who lack the financial advantages and political connections to keep up with their Republican opponents.
