Hi , Lately, I've received a bunch of emails that say "Hey TJ, what are you trading these days?" I thought I would answer that question with some examples. I recently shorted the AUDUSD, a trade I am still in. "What?" "Forex?" "For real?" I know that's what many are thinking. Why not Bitcoin or some sort of Crypto? In short, because I don't care about the symbol or instrument. I just want to make money! Also, swing trading forex can be put in semi-automatic with the special tools we use, and require the LEAST amount of time and effort. In other words, it fits into our Backpack Trader Lifestyle of Freedom Model!! Here's a trade I am currently in right now, with a CatX tradeplan we'll be adding to our Forex Swing Alert Service, SPFx. Using just one mini lot per position, which is only $1 per pip, over the last 10 years, this one plan alone has produced (backtested with the CatX TA Automation) some amazing results: - an 89.6% win rate - a 2.96 profit factor, well balanced with longs and shorts - $129 avg net profit per trade, factoring in all wins and losses - The worst losing streak was 2 losing trades in a row over the entire 10 years!! Check out the 10 year equity curve based on 1 mini lot and 5 exit points; 4 targets and a trailer. Each green dot represents an all new equity high for the 10 year history of this tradeplan. Check out how it keeps marching higher and higher. Exciting, huh? Over the past 10 years, every trade on average would have put 129 pips of profit per position into your trading account, based on the above numbers -- NET of all winners and losers. Place a trader and BOOM! 129 pips at $1 per pip per mini lot flows into your account (on average when including all wins and losses over that 10 year timespan.) I have one word to describe this better.. Cha ching a ling ding!! Lol!! In the next email, I'll send you more examples of our newest forex tradeplans. If you'd like to learn more, you can hit me back at Troy@backpacktrader.com.
