AwesomeStocks Don’t want emails from us anymore? Click [here]( to unsubscribe. Hello! New Alert: Cadiz, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDZI) CDZI is our brand new NASDAQ hidden gem opportunity. We are very excited to bring CDZI to your attention, a company that many have not yet heard about. Which means you could have a first mover advantage. CDZI is a NASDAQ listed “California water solutions company”. Here is a little information about the company: “Founded in 1983, Cadiz, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDZI) is a California water solutions company dedicated to providing access to clean, reliable and affordable water for people through a unique combination of water supply, storage, pipeline and treatment solutions.” “With 45,000 acres of land in California, 2.5 million acre-feet of water supply, 220 miles of pipeline assets and the most cost-effective water treatment filtration technology in the industry, Cadiz offers a full suite of solutions to address the impacts of climate change on clean water access.” As the company explains, “Climate change has dramatically altered hydrologic cycles around the world.” “Unpredictable swings in weather patterns from extreme droughts to atmospheric rivers cause unreliable water supplies.” “California’s snowpack is shrinking with more precipitation falling as rain and atmospheric rivers than snow. Our existing reservoirs and groundwater banks have limited ability to capture these storm waters.” In addition, “A new report from the State of California Department of Water Resources projecting that climate change will reduce water supplies from the California State Water Project ("SWP") by up to 23% over the next 20 years”. “Built in 1960, the SWP pumps water supplies more than 700 miles from Northern California to Southern California through a system of pumps, aqueducts and open reservoirs. Many desert communities in Southern California rely on imports from the SWP to replenish over-drafted groundwater basins and emergency supplies during droughts.” “Cadiz CEO Susan Kennedy commented”: - "This new report underscores the need for better ways to capture, conserve and store water supplies in Southern California. These massive natural groundwater banks in California's desert like Cadiz are the key to water security for Southern California." The company’s solution is “new water supply generated by conserving existing groundwater before it is lost to evaporation and delivered to local communities for drinking water, groundwater replenishment and emergencies”. CDZI “provides the largest new groundwater bank in Southern California with 1 million acre-feet of underground storage capacity, safe from evaporation”. Importantly, “surplus water can be safely stored at Cadiz and withdrawn when needed, without loss to evaporation or risk of curtailment due to drought conditions”. The benefits of this are a “Reliable 50-year water supply fully permitted under a county approved sustainable yield plan; enough to serve over 1.2 million people annually”. Not only is the company focused on supply and storage of water, but they are also repurposing “existing pipelines originally built to transport oil to carry water to rural, poor and underserved communities in Southern California”. As the company explains: “By renovating existing underground oil/gas pipelines to deliver water we expand needed critical water infrastructure faster, at lower cost and with less environmental impact.” In addition, “In 2022 [CDZI] acquired ATEC Systems, a water filtration technology company, which will allow Cadiz to bring scalable, low-cost filtration to local water supplies.” “Changes in natural sources and modern industrial practices continue to increase presence of groundwater contaminants that pose serious health risks.” As the company noted in a July press release: “"Nearly 40% of all groundwater systems in the U.S. exceed iron and manganese secondary drinking water standards and ATEC is tremendously well-positioned to deliver the most effective and affordable option for communities affected by these contaminants throughout North America," said Lee Odell, ATEC's Chief Operating Officer.” The company’s “treatment technology is scalable” and “provides the most cost-effective, and versatile water treatment technology in the Western United States”. CDZI has announced multiple accomplishments recently that could be big growth catalysts. Here are some of the company’s highlights from a May 30 press release where “Cadiz Provides B. Riley Institutional Investor Conference Recap”: - “The real pivot point for Cadiz in terms of milestones occurred in Q1 of this year when we announced the first firm contracts for water supply.” - “There's more than $55 billion available for clean water projects alone through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The availability of grant funding for projects like ours has never been higher.” This press release does a great job explaining the scope of the opportunity for the company where the “CEO & Chairman Discusses Goal to Pursue Financing Structures, Move Project Development & Capital Costs Off Balance Sheet”. You can find the [full press release here](. In addition, in May, the company announced: “Cadiz Subsidiary ATEC Water Systems Awarded $5.2 Million Contract, Increases ATEC 2024 Revenue Forecast to $15 Million from $12 Million” - “Award Represents ATEC's 12th Successful Bid within the last 12 Months” Here are some of the company’s comments from this press release: “ATEC has experienced rapid growth in orders in 2024 propelled by tightening water quality regulatory standards and the need to integrate groundwater into the portfolio of water supply for growing communities. Cadiz acquired ATEC in a 2022 asset acquisition for $2 million and today expects gross ATEC segment revenues to reach $15 million in 2024, revised upward from $12 million.” In June, the company announced: “Cadiz Signs LOI with City of Hesperia for Water Supply” - “75,000 acre-feet of water supply will support sustainable growth and groundwater recharge in the Mojave River Basin.” In addition, the company also announced: “Cadiz Signs Northern Pipeline Delivery Agreement with Santa Margarita Water District” - “SMWD, Cadiz sign agreement for 5,000 AFY of water via Northern Pipeline with price cap of $1,650 AFY” In June, the company also announced: - “Cadiz Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend for Q2 2024 on Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock” In July, the company announced: “Cadiz's ATEC Water Systems Secures Three New Sales Contracts Expected to Add $1.5 million in 2024 Revenues” - “Filters will provide iron and manganese treatment for groundwater in Wisconsin, Nevada and Washington cleaning water supply for a variety of communities” Most recently, the company announced a big growth catalyst: “Cadiz Announces Northern Pipeline Now Contracted for 85% Capacity” - “Achieves important milestone following execution of fifth water supply delivery agreement in 2024” In addition, on Thursday, the company announced: “Cadiz Inc. Announces September Corporate Update Investor Call and Participation in Investor Conference” - “Chairman and CEO Susan Kennedy to Host Call on September 19 at 11:00am ET” CDZI could be positioned to experience high growth.
