[The Writer’ s Life]( "Life is like a ten-speed bicycle. Most of us have gears we never use."
— Charles M. Schulz Hi {NAME}, In writing, high hourly fees are a result of ease and speed. Ease comes with practice and training, which you get plenty of in [our e-newsletter writing program](. And speed comes with having plenty of ideas … You never want to spend precious time wondering what to write about. So today I want to give you a little head start with 11 easy-to-write newsletter ideas. No clients yet? You can use this list to land them … - Customize any of these ideas to a specific client when proposing your newsletter services …
- Pick three and use them to create sample newsletters in your niche. (If you've been wondering how to get samples to show clients, this is an easy answer!) …
- Or create your own weekly newsletter to attract clients! Just remember to write the newsletter for your ideal clients … A potential client looking for someone to write about infant safety products is interested in different topics than a mom looking to buy infant safety products. Now on to those newsletter ideas … 1. Share something you found on social media. Be sure to add your own thoughts on what you found, to keep building the relationship with the reader. 2. Include a letter from a customer with your response. Ideally the letter is complimentary … has a clear intention … provides third-party proof, and shifts a belief or proves a claim. 3. Five tips to … Tips are great ways to quickly provide value to the reader. They don't have to be earth-shattering, so long as they're useful. Insider tip: Go for odd numbers. 4. Seven things you should know about … Here's another numbered list example that can be easy to write and immediately demonstrates authority. (Example: Seven things you should know about tick season to protect your dog.) 5. Share case studies. Case studies are success stories that show the before-and-after experience with a product. Many companies already have case studies right on their website. You could highlight one in a newsletter, pull an interesting tidbit out of it, or expand on it. Side note: [Get paid to write case studies]( for them, too! If they don't have any yet, propose some! 6. Answer questions. Readers have questions … Answer them directly! You can even answer questions that you think they should ask … because the answer would help them. See if your client has a list of commonly asked questions or ask their customer support team what questions they hear most often. 7. Share industry news — and include your thoughts about it! News is happening all the time in any industry. Keep readers up to date in an engaging and conversational way … just like you would at a dinner party. 8. Review products. This is a great way to also demonstrate your conversational way of selling. If you're working for a company that sells outside products, this will greatly increase your value as the newsletter becomes a revenue stream. For example, a vet might sell dog supplements or harnesses. You could do a quick and friendly product review. 9. Share the company's origin story. New readers are joining the newsletter every day … Go back to the beginning and allow them to connect on a deeper level with the client and the company's mission. 10. Run a quiz and share the results. You know what people like more than quizzes? Reading the results to see where their answers line up. 11. Curate content from a variety of sources. Finally … get this: You don't have to actually write the content! Being a trusted source for content that has already been vetted can be a good way to build your own authority. You become the judge! Just be sure to cite and include a link to the original source. So, there you have it … 11 newsletters you can get paid to write — right now! Ready to start getting paid well to write? We'd love to show you the way … And right now we're accepting new writers! [More on that here.]( 🤩 To your success, Rebecca Rebecca Matter

By Michele Peterson Email marketing is a proven, reliable strategy that continues to be leveraged by a huge majority of businesses. In fact, Litmus research reveals that more than 90% of marketers say email marketing is "at least somewhat critical to the overall success of their company." And not just any email. Newsletters are the most common type of email used in email marketing. According to the same Litmus research, they're used by 81% of businesses that rely on email marketing. Welcome emails are the second-most common at 79%. What makes newsletters so important to a company's overall success is the frequency with which they're sent. While a customer may receive a single welcome email at the start of their relationship with a company, newsletters, which can be mailed daily, weekly, or monthly, are a powerful way for the company to continue to nurture that relationship. Newsletters connect and communicate with customers. They allow a company to stay top of mind and accessible. E-newsletter Writer
By Michael Katz I didn't start out intending to specialize in e-newsletters. It was a happy accident. Back in 2000, having just walked out the door of my corporate marketing job of 12 years, my plan was to help companies build websites (the hot new tool at the time). So I began sending short, bulk emails to friends and colleagues who, like me, were interested in what was happening with this new thing called "the internet." It didn't take long before something fascinating and unexpected occurred: The people who received my emails began to interact with me.
