Statement from Hon. Rev. Michael A. Blake on the Indictments of Mayor Eric Adams New York City

[View this email in your browser]( Statement from Hon. Rev. Michael A. Blake on the Indictments of Mayor Eric Adams New York City deserves Better. New York City deserves the Best. New York City deserves a Mayor and a government without Indictments and Federal Criminal Investigations. It means that Eric Adams is not what we deserve, and, we need and deserve a new Mayor. It is absolutely unacceptable that New York City's news is not about Jobs being created but about juries being convened, not about Imagination but about Investigation, not about Courage but about Corruption. It is time for a new path forward. It is time for us to hope that our Federal Government is collaborating with us to bring resources to City Hall, not for it to bring Indictments. While we do not know the specific details just yet of why a Grand Jury agreed to Indict our New York City Mayor, we do know that our city deserves to focus on creating Jobs and graduating students, keeping people safe and improving our quality of life. Enough is Enough. The time for a change is now. The time for a new Mayor has come. [Facebook icon]( [Instagram icon]( [Website icon]( [LinkedIn icon]( [YouTube icon]( [X icon]( Copyright (C) 2024 Atlas Strategy Group.
