When I was just 3 years old, my parents moved our family to the United States looking for a better life. [Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-36)]( Congressman Ted Lieu (CA-36) [Listen, {NAME}: Democrats are banding together to help ASPIRE hit their biggest End of Quarter goal to date. If we succeed, we’ll have the resources to counter McCarthy’s schemes to sabotage Democrats’ historic agenda, take back the House, and protect our Senate Majority. We only need 275 more gifts to stay on track to reach our critical End of Quarter goal. Can I count on you to chip in $15 before midnight? >>]( {NAME}, ASPIRE’s mission is deeply personal to me. When I was just 3 years old, my parents moved our family to the United States looking for a better life. But America wasn’t an easy road for us at the beginning. People yelled racial slurs at us. People threw eggs at our house. People slashed our tires. But against all odds, my parents eventually saved up enough money to open their own store. Because of their hard work, I was able to attend college, join the Air Force, and even run for office. And now, I just became the first Asian American elected Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. [My family’s story shows the durability of the American Dream but people with stories like ours are staggeringly underrepresented in Congress.]( With the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes and racial profiling, it’s never been more important to elect more AAPI leaders. [ASPIRE is working to do just that, and that’s why I’m proud to support them. But they need your support too. So I’m humbly asking, {NAME}: Will you pitch in $15 to help us push back on Republicans’ plots to tear down our progress, RECLAIM the House, and defend our Democratic Senate Majority? ASPIRE’s counting on 275 gifts before midnight to stay on track to their End of Quarter goal. >>]( {NAME}, I’ve seen firsthand what we can accomplish when we all band together. We showed up in unprecedented numbers in November, and elected two new AAPI Members of Congress. We fought hard in Georgia to re-elect Senator Raphael Warnock, and it made ALL the difference. But Republicans are already gearing up for 2024. → Trump is sitting on $20 MILLION. → McConnell has another $8 MILLION in his warchest. → And McCarthy has another $10 MILLION in the bank. With Republicans in control of the House, we can’t afford to fall behind for even one second. [ASPIRE relies on grassroots donors to fund their critical work to engage AAPI voters and elect diverse Democrats. And after the critical investments they made in Georgia, they’re low on cash heading into the new cycle. If we don’t raise 275 gifts before midnight, we’ll fall behind our crucial End of Quarter goal. Please, {NAME}: Can you rush in $15 before midnight? >>]( [DONATE NOW: $15]( [DONATE NOW: $25]( [DONATE NOW: $50]( [DONATE NOW: $100]( [DONATE NOW: $250]( [OTHER AMOUNT]( Thank you, Ted [Follow us on Twitter!]( [Like our page on Facebook!]( [Visit our website!]( Now more than ever, it is absolutely essential that we elect more diverse candidates. ASPIRE is fighting to do just that: elect more Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) to office. We need all the help we can get to empower our communities and elect more diverse candidates. [DONATE]( We can't tell you how much we appreciate your grassroots support!
