We are becoming World History Encyclopedia to better reflect the breadth of our non-profit organization's mission. is becoming It's time for a change... Dear Reader After almost 12 years of being Ancient History Encyclopedia, our non-profit organization is changing its name to World History Encyclopedia to better reflect the breadth of our mission. We've covered most core subjects in ancient history, we have a decent amount of content on the Middle Ages, and over the last few months we have started to write about the early colonization of the Americas. Clearly, we have outgrown our name! As "AHE" is quite well-known by now, this rebranding is the result of several months of thinking and careful planning. You can [read all about this change]( on our website, and we've prepared a [short video]( for you where we examine our new logo in more detail. Our new name comes into effect on Thursday this week. We will continue to use [www.ancient.eu]( as our domain name for a few months and will switch to [www.worldhistory.org]( later this year. We're very excited as this is the biggest change in our organization's history!
