We need your help to keep going [Americares]( Dear friend, While the national spotlight has largely moved on from the destruction of Hurricanes Helene and Milton, Americares has not. Our response teams are on the ground right now providing critical medical care and relief to devastated communities across the Southeast. We need your help to fuel our ongoing efforts throughout this long road to recovery: [Will you give $125 today to help us continue delivering lifesaving aid to those who need it most?]( [Rush Emergency Relief Now]( Responding: Hurricane Helene When Hurricane Helene struck, severe flooding and mudslides devastated communities in North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Americares is often among the first on-site following a disaster – and this storm was no exception. With support from humanitarians like you, our team has: - Delivered more than 4 tons of medical supplies, including antibiotics and chronic disease medications. - Installed water filtration systems at multiple sites, with each system providing safe drinking water for up to 10,000 people a day. - Launched a mobile clinic to provide medical resources to the hardest-hit communities throughout Western North Carolina. - Conducted over 160 mental health sessions. We’re focusing on meeting immediate needs while supporting long-term recovery efforts. We’ll be here as long as it takes. [But we can’t do it without you, friend.
