And the school could get another one Dec. 22 if the cards fall right. It is a juggernaut, in the truest sense. And so is its high school. Allen has nearly 6,700 students from 9th to 12th grade -- the largest high school in the state by 1,000 students -- and one of the largest in the nation. How Allen has been allowed to continue to compete, such as it is, against schools one-third its size has long been a point of debate. The chatter gets louder the longer Allen continues to dominate Friday nights. The project, which adds capacity for up to 15,000 jobs, solidifies the state as the tech giant's major employment hub outside of California. The company said it will also add jobs in cities across the U.S. Over the next three years, it said it will add over 1,000 employees in Seattle, San Diego and Culver City, Calif. and add hundreds of new jobs in Pittsburgh, New York, Boulder, Boston and Portland, Ore. It said it will double the size of its offices in Nashville and Miami.
