Hi {NAME}, I have a wife (Steph) and 4 kids (Ben, Caleb, Hudson and Poppy). I also coach my son’s high school squash teams (that’s multiple teams, lots of sessions, 1 on 1’s, take them away to tournaments, Nationals, etc). And I run a lot of niche websites and niche YouTube channels, etc, in various niches. These include language learning, AI tools, personal development, dating and relationships, health niches, musical instrument learning, dog training and more. On top of that, I take the kids on several vacations a year and still manage to fit in cricket training, along with the squash commitments. So... how do I find the time? It’s tough to explain it all in one email, but I’ll focus on what really matters. Systems and Habits. Systems are basically routines or processes that make sure things in life or business keep running smoothly. When I started working online as an affiliate, I hired my 1st staff member when I was making just $150 a week. I didn’t realize it then, but my reluctance to write articles myself, and knowing how easily I could procrastinate actually helped me grow faster than others. I hired someone to write articles for me for $10 an hour, for 10 hours a week. While I lived off my student loan, a part time job I had at Pizza Hut, and the other 50 dollars or so a week that I was bringing in online from my affiliate site. I had a simple system, add more content to my website, get it ranking in the search engines (this was 1999 when very little content was actually out there, so search traffic was easier to come by), and put up banner ads promoting other people’s products. Within a few months of hiring my 1st employee, I was making over 1k per week, so I hired another. The lesson here is not to rush and hire employees. You can do it all yourself if you want. With AI, you might find that the right automation can handle more tasks for you. What was important here was that I’d worked out a system that worked on a small level, and then I worked that system as best I could to get the most out of it. Rinse and repeat. And not just within 1 niche, but replicating this across into other niches, similar system, but similar method of marketing. Later, I learned other marketing techniques and turned them into repeatable systems. When you have a working system, you can step back if you want and hire someone else to implement it for you. Or, you can use AI or hired programmers to create automation that can handle some tasks for you. The key is to create effective systems and processes around them so they can be implemented regularly. This could be as simple as planning your daily breakfast to save time on meal planning each day. The next bit that counts a lot are your habits. Your brain and body tend to want to do similar stuff in a similar routine each day. And it’s hard to break the habit you have set for yourself. If you are in a habit of spending 3 hours a night watching tv, then it’s hard to break that habit and replace that with 30 mins of exercise, and 1 hour working on your online business, and 90 mins of watching tv. It's easy for a few days, challenging for 3 weeks, and tough to maintain for 6 weeks. But after 90 days, it becomes your new way of life, and living differently feels strange. So, figure out your desired daily habits and how you want to live your life. Stick to this plan for 90 days. If you can live like a champion for 90 days, it will become the new you and will be easy to maintain for years to come. — Ok, so I have oversimplified these 2 things, systems and habits, but they are the fundamental keys. Set up systems for the results you want in life and stick to them. Keep refining them to make them better. Build good habits and stick to any new positive habit for 90 days, it’ll boost your life like rocket fuel. I hope this helps some of you. If you’d like more details on this, just reply and let me know. I’m happy to share more if needed. Have a great day, and keep taking action!
