Donald Trump and Adam’s GOP opponent, Steve Garvey, don’t care about working families — they never have and never will. As Trump made clear again this week when his remarks to rich donors were leaked, they’re all about giving more tax cuts to the rich. For years, Adam has delivered on lowering costs and expanding access to healthcare. He’s fought to improve public transportation in Southern California. And in a great service to every American, he has bravely defended our democracy and the rule of law against Trump’s many, many attempts to dismantle our system for his own gain. For that, Adam has been on the receiving end of some pretty vile and personal attacks (and trust me, as an actor, I’ve had my fair share of critics, so I know the feeling). But Adam has never wavered in his work to make a difference and stand up for what is right. And that’s exactly what we need in the U.S. Senate.
