Trump was already the most corrupt, authoritarian, far-right president in American history, and now he’s the first to be a convicted felon. The Biden-Harris Administration is essential to rebalancing the federal judiciary, enacting the policies we passed and were signed into law in the administration’s first two years — and signing important new ones into law like codifying Roe v. Wade and protecting voting rights. - Defend the Senate and keep California’s seat blue. The National Republican Senatorial Committee just reserved $100 million in fall advertising. We need to help Adam defeat celebrity Republican Steve Garvey and defend battleground seats in states like Nevada, Ohio, Montana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona while helping strong Democratic challengers go on offense in states like Texas and Florida. We have a 51-49 Senate majority, and with Joe Manchin’s retirement in West Virginia, we have no additional margin for error. - Flip the House by taking 7 of the GOP-controlled or open California congressional districts that alone can determine the House majority. In 2018, California flipped 7 of the 41 House districts Democrats took nationwide to retake the House and put a check on Donald Trump. That majority was essential to passing legislation in the first years of the Biden Administration — we have seen the MAGA chaos under Kevin McCarthy and Mike Johnson’s absentee leadership since. Running a grassroots, 58-county Senate campaign is critical to boosting turnout down-ballot that will determine whether the next Congress will address our most pressing issues. That’s the plan. Every piece of it is essential. We cannot accomplish what we need without all three. Without the Senate, we cannot pass legislation to address our biggest priorities or approve President Biden’s judicial nominees — including for potential openings on the Supreme Court. Without the House, we cannot get the most basic things done — and MAGA insurrectionists could once again contest the result of the 2024 election, this time from the House majority.
