Even accounting for an extraordinarily conservative $20,000, [the one company I'm watching closely]( – would still be sitting pretty at $108 billion based on their over 5 million tons of estimated reserves. But if prices continue to accelerate and rise to $40,000 again, this company's stockpile is potentially worth $264 billion. Especially when you consider the political climate right now. Temperature Rising on Foreign Relations World War III isn't starting right now or hopefully in the future. But WWIII isn't needed to stop production at scale on critical resources. Multiple gas companies had distribution deals with Russia, but when they invaded Ukraine, many felt the cultural pressure to stop dealing with the country – even before any ban started. [To no one's surprise, completely replacing these significant chunks of a distribution chain takes a lot of money.]( And gas companies later made Americans foot the bill. Gas prices soared despite each company having a huge incentive to offer cheap quality gas in exchange for lifetime support from customers. A similar situation is happening between the U.S. and China. China is eyeing Taiwan the way Russia eyed Ukraine. If the situation were to escalate, then China's 70% of the global lithium supply could get cut out overnight. And now that all car manufacturers need to ensure at least 40% of car battery packs are domestic lithium sources by 2025, the situation is ripe for domestic opportunity.
