A Healthy Money Relationship

How was your relationship with money growing up? Did you believe that money was everywhere? Or did you believe that money was "hard to come by"? Maybe you grew up with parents who yelled at each other whenever they talked about the bills. Maybe you saw your parents cut coupons and tried desperately to save as much money as they could. Maybe there were days where you had no idea if money would even come to you. And that can be a very scary place to be in. You probably grew up believing that it’s "hard to make money"... Or you had people that were cynical when it came to "the economy". If you look around you, you may find family members, friends or co-workers who have an unhealthy relationship towards money. And here’s what happens when you have an unhealthy relationship with money. You start to set these DREAM KILLING CONDITIONS with yourself. Conditions such as… "I don’t get to launch a business until I make at least $2000/month". "I don’t get to contribute with my philanthropic work until I’ve made $300,000". It’s like you’re putting shackles on yourself and you don't even realize you’re doing it. These conditions stop you from making progress towards your dreams. It’s the reason why many aspiring coaches think they need to get more certifications… Or take more courses before they go ALL-IN on being a coach. They believe that it’s possible for other coaches to charge $1.5-10K for their coaching program. But they can’t see themselves charging the same amount. So what do they do? They purposely put DREAM KILLING CONDITIONS in front of themselves. And the most sinister part about all this is that it never ends. Everytime you set a DREAM KILLING CONDITION and you achieve it… You just set another DREAM KILLING CONDITION. If I asked you to purposely make your life harder than it needs to be, you would think I’m crazy right? And yet, that's what you've probably been doing to yourself without realizing it. As long as you have an unhealthy relationship with money… You’ll continue to feel like you’re not worthy enough to be paid 5-6 figures as an online coach. I’ve worked with coaches who’ve had years of experience and they were still setting these conditions against themselves. That is why when I work with online coaches, I show them how to HEAL their own relationship with money. I do this before I even teach them how to build an epic transformational coaching business. Because when you have an unhealthy relationship with money… You’ll continue to take two steps back everytime you take one step forward. The topic of money doesn’t get talked about enough. And I want to start writing more emails about cultivating a healthy relationship with money.
