Accountability can be a great way to build momentum. Strategies for Increasing Completion Rates in C

Accountability can be a great way to build momentum. [image] From Nathalie Hi {NAME}, As I write this, it's raining outside. These past few years, I've been thinking about where water goes a lot. When it falls from the sky, when it dries up off the ground or is perspired by trees back into the clouds. It's always moving. When there's the right amount of water, everything thrives. Plants, animals, soil life. But when there's too much or not enough, it throws things off kilter. It might kill plants and even animals. And as humans, we might think we're smart enough to "control water", by building dams or moving it from one place to another... But water can only be corralled for so long. It has a directive of its' own... and I often find similarities with how money moves. We're really just holding onto it for a time, before it moves onto its' next destination. Let's do our best to guide it toward beneficial places so life thrives, shall we? [image] Momentum Tip #23 Accountability can be a great way to build momentum. Recently, I've been feeling a little stiff and I figured it would be a good idea to start stretching more... I could have looked for yoga training online, but I decided to see if there was a local studio. Lo and behold, there's one 5 minutes away from us. So I kept their website open in a tab on my computer... for a few weeks. It wasn't looking like I was going to make it happen, so I picked a date for my first class. I paid the deposit online, and on top of that I told one of my friends that I'd be dropping by her place on my way to the yoga class. There were a few layers of accountability here to make sure I follow through. I don't want to flake on my friend, I've already paid and told the yoga studio I'd be there, and now I'm well on my way to a more limber body. Over time, I'll build a habit out of going and the accountability won't be necessary. We can use accountability in professional settings too. You can tell a colleague what you commit to doing, announce your next product or live workshop publicly, or get an accountability coach. When you put the odds in your favor, you're more likely to follow through! Back in 2017, Valerie decided to start offering online courses. She tried out AccessAlly first because she knew about it through the [30 Day List Building Challenge](. However, she realized that there were a lot of puzzle pieces to figure out like setting up her email marketing platform and building WordPress pages. Then she heard about Kartra, which was an all-in-one solution. She wouldn’t need a separate email platform, and she could build web pages and memberships alongside her courses. So she left AccessAlly and gave Kartra a go for a while. She thought it would be a lot easier to have everything in one place, but in the end, Kartra didn’t have a robust membership program and the email functionality wasn’t as good as ActiveCampaign’s. That’s why she ended up coming back to AccessAlly, even though it takes effort to set things up the way you want them. "I decided to come back to AccessAlly because I knew how it worked, and the tech support is the best I’ve had. For people who want to own their own content, their own tech, their own membership, then WordPress is really the way to go. And that makes AccessAlly a really good way to go. I feel like you guys are adding new features and making improvements all the time. I feel like there are going to be more features I can add to my membership. AccessAlly was my first love."
