Join me in supporting the handful of Democrats whose races will decide whether or not we flip the House blue in 15 days. All of them are running in races that were decided by less than 2.6% of the vote.͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ 314 Action Fund is the only national organization working to train, recruit, support, and elect Democrats with STEM and medical backgrounds to office at all levels of government. But I’d greatly appreciate it if you could take the time to read this one. Democrats are just 4 seats away from flipping the House blue. As a Frontline member myself, and the first Democrat to ever represent WA-08, I know what it takes to win tough races. So trust me when I tell you that your support in this final stretch – these last 10 days before Election Day – will be decisive. That’s why I’m asking if you’ll join me in supporting six Democrats who are running in the most competitive red-to-blue House races in the nation. Polling shows they are virtually all tied, all of them are rated as toss-ups by election experts all across the country, and all of them have had elections decided by less than 2.6% of the vote in the past couple of years. Many of us are facing record levels of GOP spending in the final stretch of the election and need your help to reach every last voter before Election Day: If we win these races, we flip the House. [Donate with the election 10 days away and your donation will be split directly between Christina Bohannan (IA-1), Dr. Amish Shah (AZ-1), Janelle Bynum (OR-5), George Whitesides (CA-27), John Mannion (NY-22), and Tony Vargas (NE-2).]( [State Rep. Christina Bohannan]( Bohannan (IA-1) – Christina is an environmental engineer and law professor who defeated a 20-year incumbent to secure a seat in the Iowa State Legislature. In 2020, Republicans flipped this seat from blue to red by the slimmest margin of any House race in nearly an entire century – a margin of just 6 votes (0.01% of the vote). And polling confirms it could be just as competitive this November. Normington, Petts & Associates Poll: Bohannan 47% – Miller-Meeks 47%  [State Rep. Amish Shah](. Amish Shah (AZ-1) – Amish is an Emergency Room physician at the Mayo Clinic of Arizona and State Representative who had the most bills signed into law of any Arizona Democrat of the past decade. In 2022, Republicans barely defended this seat by a margin of just 3,195 votes (which was less than 1% of the vote). It could be even closer this time around. In 2020, Joe Biden won this district by 1.5%. Impact Research Poll: Shah 48% – Schweikert 48%  [State Rep. Janelle Bynum]( Bynum (OR-5) – Janelle is an electrical engineer, small business owner, and former State Representative who has defeated Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer (who she is now running against) not once but twice at the state level. In 2022, Republicans flipped this seat from blue to red by a razor-thin margin of just 2.1% of the vote. In 2020, Joe Biden won this district by 8.8% of the vote – one of the largest margins of any House seat actively held by a Republican. Noble Predictive Insights Poll: Bynum 43% – Chavez-DeRemer 42%  [George Whitesides]( Whitesides (CA-27) – George is an aerospace expert who served as the Chief of Staff for NASA under President Barack Obama, served as CEO of the spaceflight company Virgin Galactic, and co-founded a group to address wildfire disasters. In 2020, Republicans flipped this seat from blue to red by a razor-thin margin – just 333 votes (a margin of 0.1% of the vote). In 2020, Joe Biden won this district by a massive margin of 12.4% of the vote – more than almost any other House district currently represented by a Republican. University of Southern California Poll: Whitesides 48% – Garcia 46%  [State Sen. John Mannion]( Mannion (NY-22) – John is a former science teacher who won a highly competitive State Senate seat on Republican turf by just 10 votes to win a seat in the New York State Legislature. In 2022, Republicans barely defended this House seat by a razor-thin margin of just 2,631 votes (which is less than 1% of the vote!). In 2020, Joe Biden won this district by a margin of 7.4% of the vote – which is part of the reason the National Journal labeled this as the best red-to-blue pickup opportunity in the United States!  [State Senator Tony Vargas]( Vargas (NE-2) – Tony is a former science teacher and school board member who currently serves in the Nebraska State Senate. In 2022, Tony fell just 5,856 votes (a margin of just 2.6% of the vote) of flipping this seat from red to blue. In 2020, Joe Biden won this district by a margin of 6.4% of the vote and it's only grown more Democratic since. The New York Times poll: Vargas 49% – Bacon 46% If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be immediately processed and split between John Mannion, George Whitesides, Janelle Bynum, Tony Vargas, Dr. Amish Shah, and Christina Bohannan. Since 2017, we’ve supported more than 500+ candidates and reached millions of swing voters on their behalf with our data-driven messaging campaigns. Our candidates led the charge to flip the House in 2018, the Senate in 2021, and a handful of state legislatures in 2022. Now, there are more scientists in office than at any point in U.S. history. No one is better equipped to craft policy to address pressing issues like gun violence, climate change, healthcare reform, or restoring reproductive rights than scientific professionals. Recent polling confirms that scientific and medical professionals have some of the highest approval ratings and levels of trust among voters – Meaning our candidates are better positioned to win tough races and can cut through the partisan divide! 100% of our work is powered by individual donations and our average donation is just $19. We plan on supporting more Democratic scientists and medical professionals in virtually every state this election cycle than at any point in our history. With you by our side, we’ll defend our Senate majority, retake the House, keep the White House blue, and elect a historic wave of Democrats to state legislatures and local office.
