John Mannion]Last week, Roll Call ranked GOP Rep. Brandon Williams as THE most vulnerable House Republican in the United States. Why? He barely won re-election in 2022, only winning by 2,500 votes and 1% of the vote. This was after Joe Biden carried the district by 7.5% in 2020 and before redistricting – which made the district several points more Democratic! Former science teacher and State Sen. John Mannion is no stranger to tough races: In fact, he won a highly competitive State Senate seat by just 50 votes and has a strong track record of delivering bipartisan wins in the State Legislature. Multiple election experts JUST moved this race from toss-up toward favoring John Mannion. We plan on investing big here because Williams still retains a major cash-on-hand advantage over Mannion.  California’s 27th Congressional District: [George Whitesides]Last week, Roll Call ranked GOP Rep. Mike Garcia as THE 6th most vulnerable House Republican in the United States. Why? He barely won this district by just 333 votes in a recent election in a district Joe Biden carried by a landslide in 2020 — a margin of 12.4% of the vote! And he’s facing his toughest opponent yet. George Whitesides is the former Chief of Staff for NASA, founded a leading spaceflight company that employed hundreds in the district, and co-founded a major group to respond to wildfire disasters in the district. Because of supporters like you, he’s also been able to outraise Mike Garcia. Republicans are spending more here than in almost any other district. Why? Because a recent poll showed George Whitesides WINNING and even Fox News admitted this race is leaning toward the Democrats for the first time in 5 years!  Oregon’s 5th Congressional District: [State Rep. Janelle Bynum]Last week, Roll Call ranked GOP Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer as THE 4th most vulnerable House Republican in the United States. Why? She barely flipped this district red in 2022 by a margin of just 2% of the vote. And this is a district that prefers Democrats — Joe Biden carried the district in 2020 by nearly 10%! How OR-5 votes is how America is expected to vote overall: The district is almost perfectly split evenly between Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. A new poll shows electrical engineer and State Rep. Janelle Bynum within the margin-of-error of Chavez-DeRemer. Every election expert we’ve talked to has rated this race as a “toss-up” and Republicans are spending more here than almost anywhere else for a reason.  Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District: [State Senator Tony Vargas]Last week, Roll Call recently ranked GOP Rep. Don Bacon as THE 5th most vulnerable House Republican in the United States. Why? He only won re-election in 2022 by 2% of the vote in a district President Joe Biden carried by a wide margin in 2020 (6.3%!). He’s facing the toughest fight of his political life in the form of science teacher and State Senator Tony Vargas. Not just one or two, but now three polls all show Tony Vargas within the margin-of-error of Don Bacon and one even showed him taking the lead!  Arizona’s 1st Congressional District: [State Rep. Amish Shah]The National Journal recently ranked GOP Rep. David Schweikert as one of THE top 11 most vulnerable House Republicans in the United States (and the most vulnerable in all of Arizona!). Why? He only won re-election by a razor-thin margin of 0.8% in 2022 in a district that Joe Biden carried by 1.5% in 2020. He’s also facing years-long ethics scandals including campaign finance fraud and the misuse and abuse of taxpayer resources to enrich himself and his friends (even Republicans voted to condemn his behavior!). Now, he’s in the fight for his political life now that E.R. physician and former State Rep. Amish Shah is running against him. While Amish served Arizona families and took care of their health, Schweikert swindled their money to fuel a lavish and corrupt lifestyle. And polling shows his time in Washington might be up: Amish trails him by just 1% in the latest poll.  Iowa’s 1st Congressional District: [State Rep. Christina Bohannan]In 2020, this district made history as being the closest House race in a century. Democrats lost this seat by just 6 votes. This year, we have the chance to win it back. Environmental engineer, law professor, and former State Rep. Christina Bohannan is running one of the best Democratic campaigns of the past decade in Iowa. Earlier in the year, her race was rated as Likely Republican and polling showed her trailing. But Christina never stopped putting in the work — and it’s paying off.
