Spokesman of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shiite, Ibrahim Musa, has questioned the decision of the Federal Government (FG) to proscribe the group. He criticised the move, describing it as "absurd."
The Federal Government had obtained an order from the Federal High Court, Abuja, proscribing the movement after a series of protests by Shiite members, which claimed lives and properties in Abuja. [Read more](

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said that milk importation is not banned. However, the apex bank disclosed that milk importers will soon be denied access to the official foreign exchange (Forex) window.
